Adelaide defender Jake Kelly has been ruled out this weekend’s clash with North Melbourne due to delayed concussion symptoms.

After suffering an initial head knock in the third quarter of the Crows' Round 22 game with Melbourne, he developed symptoms on Wednesday after passing all previous tests.

Since developing the symptoms, Kelly did not participate in Adelaide’s main training session.

The 26-year-old has been a near mainstay in Adelaide’s defence this season, having played 20 games over the course of the year, ranking 19th in the competition for total intercepts.
