2024: Sheezel showed no signs of second-year blues in 2024 as he averaged 29.8 disposals across his 21 appearances.
He was clinical for the Roos off half-back and in the midfield, executing efficiently with composure throughout an otherwise difficult campaign for the side.
Despite having missed the final two matches, Sheezel secured a spot on the Syd Barker Medal podium with a third-place finish. His efforts were further recognised as the Roos’ Best Clubman, the AFLCA’s Best Young Player, and with a place in the All-Australian squad.
