Due to current government restrictions in Victoria, the Syd Barker Club Champion Dinner has been postponed to Friday, October 1.
The club is hopeful restrictions will be eased to allow a significant increase in venue capacity at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
The club’s night of nights promises to showcase the club’s future with young guns like Tarryn Thomas, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Jy Simpkin and Jaidyn Stephenson sure to attract plenty of votes, while experienced stars like Ben Cunnington, Jack Ziebell and Todd Goldstein will no doubt feature prominently.
The hard-running Aaron Hall is looming as a big improver, with Nick Larkey and Cameron Zurhaar also finishing the year strongly.
