Ben Cunnington | Week 3 Score - 96 | Average - 84 | $600,000 (-4k/-$20k season) | Ownership - 0.23%
Comfortably the Roos’ best player, Cunnington finished with 25 possessions (16 contested), two goals and a game high 11 clearances, from 76% time on the ground.
The hard-nosed midfielder made his presence felt around the ground and picked up his highest fantasy score of the year with 96 points.
Having been priced at $620,000 to start the season, a couple of below par performances prior to Round 3 has seen Cunnington’s price drop to a more reasonable $600,000.
Jack Ziebell | Week 3 Score - 94 | Average - 91.3 | $647,000 (-$4k/-$15k season) | Ownership - 0.36%
In another solid showing from the skipper, Ziebell picked up 22 disposals, a goal and six marks.
Ziebell’s tendency to kick rather than handball improved his fantasy score, with the midfielder opting to go by foot with 17 of his 22 touches.
Ziebell has been a consistent performer so far this season, with a difference of only 10 points between his highest and lowest score (85-95), suggesting you can be confident in what you will get from him.
Ben Jacobs | Week 3 Score - 86 | Average - 76.7 | $341,000 (+$55k/+$98k season) | Ownership - 4.7%
Jacobs built on his strong performance against St Kilda on Good Friday with another strong fantasy showing.
The No.5 collected 18 disposals and a game-high 10 tackles to post a fantasy score of 80 points.
Jacobs is clearly outperforming his price tag, with an increase of $98,000 already.
He may still have some room to grow too, and is probably the pick of the North players for value.
Ben Brown | Week 3 Score - 82 | Average - 66.7 | $474,000 (+3k/-$32k season) | Ownership - 1.5%
Another impressive performance from North’s go-to-man up forward, with Brown kicking four goals.
The big No. 50 is lethal on his day, and showed this again with his four majors coming from 11 disposals, as well as taking five marks.
If Brown can keep his score consistently in the 80’s and above, he looks good value at his current price.
