North Melbourne has completed a trade with the Gold Coast Suns in the dying minutes of the AFLW Sign & Trade Period.
The deal will see the Kangaroos get pick 19 in the National Draft, in exchange for Vivien Saad and pick 30.
North AFLW list & football performance manager, Rhys Harwood, said the trade allows the club to bring in more talent through the draft.
“We are really happy with our draft hand at the conclusion of this period, and to add early draft selections will allow us to bring in some elite young talent,” Harwood said.
“We want to thank Viv for her contribution to the club over her two seasons with us.
“Viv worked extremely hard on earning her opportunity in the competition and always gave 100 per cent, which is all we could ask for.
“We wish her the best for her next chapter with the Suns.”
Saad played 16 games for the Kangaroos.
