Two North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos will be involved in AFL Tasmania’s Statewide All-Star Series, with Daria Bannister and Nicole Bresnehan swapping the football boots for the coaches box.
Bannister will be among the coaching staff of the Northern Tasmanian Football Association (NTFA) and will lock horns with Bresnehan who has been named as part of the Southern Football League’s (SFL) coaching team.
Both players were ever present in the Kangaroos’ most recent AFLW campaign, impressing in opposite halves of the ground.
Bannister kicked six goals for the season and excited fans with her strength and power, while Bresnehan’s guile and intelligence out of the back-line was a weapon for Darren Crocker’s side all season long.
