Robbie Tarrant is set to make his return to the playing field when he runs out for North Melbourne’s VFL team at Arden St on Saturday.
Tarrant has missed the entirety of the season to date, after having a small mass removed from his kidney in March.
The 32-year-old has been a key pillar of the Roos’ defence in recent seasons, and his impending return after the bye will add critical experience.
David Noble confirmed Tarrant’s return on AFL360 on Monday night.
“It’s very exciting to get him back,” Noble said.
“He’s been training really hard for the last month to get back to full tilt.
“He’s pretty keen and eager to get a run in before the bye and then be available for Round 13.”
