The Gold Coast Suns will be without superstar second year player Matt Rowell for this weekend’s round two clash with North Melbourne.
Rowell, a former number one draft pick, will miss the game after sustaining a PCL injury against West Coast in round one.
Gold Coast General Manager of Football Jon Haines says Rowell could be missing for a number of weeks.
“The long-term health of his knee is positive. There is no specific timeline for his return,” Haines said.
Rowell has impressed when he’s gotten on the park for the Suns, averaging 17 disposals, five tackles and a goal per game in 2020.
