North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ forward Elisha King will spend the 2021 season on the sidelines, after suffering a hamstring injury.
The 21-year-old was injured during training last week, having already missed part of the 2020 campaign with a knee injury.
“This is obviously incredibly disappointing news for Elisha and the club, but we will support her fully throughout her recovery,” North AFLW football operations manager Nathan Hrovat said.
“She’s a very resilient person and we are confident she will bounce back from this injury.”
King has played 10 games for the club, after making her debut in Round 2 of 2019.
