Brisbane coach Chris Fagan says David Noble will be a big loss to the Lions' football program.
Fagan worked closely with Noble over the past four seasons, with the pair forming a highly-respected partnership as coach and GM of Football.
Noble played a key role in Brisbane's finals campaigns in 2019 and 2020, before being appointed as North Melbourne's senior coach last Friday.
“Really good footy managers don’t grow on trees and he’s (Noble) an experienced guy. We’ll definitely miss him,” Fagan told SEN Breakfast.
“I’m really happy for him and a little bit disappointed that we lost him.
“He’s made a tremendous contribution over the last four years; he’s been a great support for me.”
Noble has followed a similar path to Fagan, who was GM of Football at Hawthorn before taking on the senior coaching role at the Lions.
