Bailey Scott was one of a number of young players to take their game to the next level in 2020.
Mainly used as across the wing and sneaking forward, Scott booted 8.1 for the season, with his reliability from set shots an important factor for the Roos.
And despite his relatively light frame, the number eight impressed with his contested marking.
The son of premiership star Robert, Scott signed a two-year extension with the Roos at the end of the season.

With another pre-season under his belt, Scott will be looking to play more of his natural midfield role in 2021.
By the numbers
Scott is clean in his disposal, and rated above average in both kicking efficiency (65.4%) and his disposal efficiency (70.3%).
His 8 goal haul was the equal-fourth-most for the Roos, and fifth-most of Rising Star eligible players.
Scott likes to take the game on when given the chance, and he led all Rising Stars for bounces.
The big moment
On a wet day at the Gabba in Round 8, Scott showed how dangerous he can be going forward, kicking a career-high 3 goals against Carlton.
The highlight of the game was his fine finish from Jared Polec’s excellent work on the wing.
A brilliant piece of skill from Jared Polec and a fine finish from Bailey Scott.

What the fans said
Great young man and talent. Potentially a future captain in his mid 20s. Well done to Bailey for an excellent season in amongst a very disappointing year for the Club.
