North Melbourne is hopeful of a quick recovery for Ben Brown, after the forward injured his knee in a tackle on Wednesday night against Geelong at the GABBA.
GM football, Brady Rawlings, said Brown will miss the club’s upcoming game in Adelaide and will be assessed ahead of the Roos’ Round 12 fixture back in Queensland.
“Ben had an MRI yesterday and was cleared of any ligament damage,” Rawlings said.
“He sustained pinching of the lateral knee joint and reported pain and discomfort, but both have subsided.
“He will miss our match against Melbourne on Saturday but we intend to take full advantage of a seven day break leading into our next game against Brisbane and hope he’ll be available.”
