The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos have secured pick 40 in the upcoming AFLW draft, in exchange for ruck Abbey Green.
North AFLW list and football performance manager Rhys Harwood said securing the additional draft pick provides a host of opportunity.
“The draft pool is continuing to strengthen, and the ability to trade back into the third round of the draft provides us with some flexibility for the remainder of the Sign and Trade Period,” Harwood said.
“Abbey has been a pleasure to have in our program, and we wish her all the best at Collingwood.”
The Kangaroos currently have picks 13, 29, 40 as well as a fourth round pick.
