Majak Daw long-awaited comeback game is set for Saturday afternoon, with the key-defender a confirmed inclusion to take on Adelaide.
It’s been close to two years since Daw’s last game in the royal blue and white, but finally, he received the news he’d been waiting for.
Jack Ziebell announced his teammate's return during North's main session on Wednesday.
"We’ve seen his journey, we’ve seen how much work he’s done to get back to this point," the Roos' skipper said.
"It’s been an incredible journey, and this feat that he’s going to achieve this weekend is going to be one of the great stories in AFL footy."
There were fears Daw's 2020 campaign could be over when he tore a pectoral muscle in May.
But the North number one will officially run out with the North team for the first time in 706 days, come Saturday afternoon.
