Adelaide be without key midfielder Brad Crouch for Saturday's clash against North Melbourne.

Crouch suffered a hamstring injury in the Crows' loss to Essendon.

“Brad was pushed in the back by an opponent when he was in a kicking stride and had an immediate onset of pain in the hamstring,” Adelaide's Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders told the club's website.

“Scans have confirmed a strain at the junction between the muscle and the tendon, in the upper thigh.

“We expect Brad to take two-to-three weeks to return to play.”

The Crows are likely to regain two emerging youngsters, with forward Darcy Fogarty (shoulder) and Ned McHenry (ribs) pushing for selection.

Tom Doedee (hamstring) is also expected to train and be available.
