Several of the club’s stars have become serial Twitter users, with Brent Harvey (@Boomer_29) leading the race from Andrew Swallow (@andrewswallow) as the most followed Kangaroo.
Majak Daw (@MajakDaw) and Jack Ziebell (@jackziebell) also frequent the social networking site.
A new hashtag for 2012 has been a winner among supporters - #NorthSpirit, inspired by the club’s latest membership campaign has regularly been trending around Australia since its inception.
North Melbourne is also receiving plenty of interest on its Facebook page with over 33,000 fans, as well as its newly-launched Google Plus account.
