North Melbourne’s Brent Harvey will front the AFL Appeals Board on Tuesday night in a bid to have a two-match suspension overturned.

The 34-year old is already facing at least four weeks on the sidelines for a separate incident, and could miss the first six games of 2013 if his ban for striking West Coast's Adam Selwood is upheld.

Harvey was charged with a level three striking offence (225 demerit points, two matches) against Selwood during the fourth quarter of the first elimination final on Sunday, September 9.

He risks no further penalty by appealing the change.
