The interior of the new Arden Street facility has been transformed with the Hacer Group construction company working diligently towards a handover in mid November.

With pre-season training officially beginning next week the players won’t have to wait long before having state-of-the-art resources at their disposal.

The club’s administration will also move to its new home in just a few weeks bringing the entire organisation under the one roof.

Around 70 seats have been installed in the new theatrette while floorboards and line markings have been laid in the gymnasium. The balcony outside chief executive Eugene Arocca’s office is in place while the plunge pools and swim spas have been put in.

In the Learning and Life Centre the classroom has begun to take shape with plasterers erecting several walls in the middle of the large space.

While North’s most prized possessions will be transferred to the club’s new home, other furnishings and equipment will be auctioned off in late November. Office furniture and gym equipment will go under the hammer.

Demolition of the old building is expected to take place in early December.
