Sam Wright is free to take on GWS after being cleared of charging Essendon's Brent Stanton
SAM Wright is free to take on Greater Western Sydney this Sunday after being cleared of charging Essendon's Brent Stanton by the Match Review Panel.
Wright was reported by umpire Matt Stevic for charging Stanton during the second quarter of North Melbourne's two-point loss to Essendon on Saturday night, but the Match Review Panel dismissed the charge on Monday afternoon.
Wright impressed at half-back against the Bombers in his first senior game since recurring shoulder problems ended his 2011 season after round 13.
