The mature-age recruit took out the Bruce Montgomery Trophy beating Ben McKinley and former Roo Ben Ross.
"Like all the Kangaroos' players, Cam came down and gave us 100 percent on and off the field. His ability to fill a number of roles on the ground makes him a very important player and he thoroughly deserves this award," coach Scott West said.
Werribee progressed to the preliminary final and it was in large part thanks to the contribution of the North-listed players. Alongside Pedersen, McKinley and Ben Warren provided the bulk of the goals while Majak Daw was important in the ruck.
Down back Ayden Kennedy was impressive while Ben Speight and Will Sierakowski provided plenty of drive through the middle. However, Pedersen beat them all on the way to winning the trophy.
In the aftermath of a frustrating season at senior level, only playing two games, it's some consolation for Pedersen as he prepares for 2013.
Ben Warren took out the goalkicking award with 54 while Speight also notched up his 50th game for the Tigers during the season.
