North captain Andrew Swallow has copped a fine from the MRP.

Swallow was reported for tripping Giant Josh Kelly in the third quarter during the Roos’ 56 point win on Saturday at Spotless Stadium.

The Match Review Panel slapped Swallow with a $1,000 fine, with the panel ruling the trip as “intentional conduct with low impact to the body”.

The offence was classified as a $1500 sanction, with an early plea reducing the penalty to $1,000.
