Aaron Black ($293,500) and Majak Daw ($239,700) have increased in value by more than $225,000 combined this season.
Daw’s early substitution two weeks running means he has a breakeven well into triple figures approaching Sunday’s clash with St Kilda.
Depending on the state of your bank account, the ruckman could either be upgraded to a premium selection or downgraded to a rookie ruck.
Black’s situation is slightly different to Daw’s. Consistent performances from the number 35 leave him with a breakeven only just below his weekly average. If other areas of your team need attention urgently, Black can be left on the field in the short term given he hasn’t scored less than 59 in five outings.
At the top end of the scoring chain, Jack Ziebell ($458,800) led all Roos with 128 – his highest score of the season. However he has been offered a three-week ban for striking which could put a momentary halt to his good on-field form.
Sam Gibson ($408,600) collected 30 disposals, seven more than any other North player and the end result for him was 122 points. The high score has effectively negated any price impact after the midfielder was the starting substitute in Round 8 against West Coast.
Gibson collected his first ever Dream Team century last season against St Kilda in Round 14 with 110, an effort he’d love to repeat this weekend.
Ben Cunnington ($373,100) posted his second consecutive score of more than 100 while Andrew Swallow ($461,700) rebounded from a relatively quiet game against the Eagles to post 104.
