The race to the finals is heating up and North Ballarat can ill afford to lose its best ball winners for the match against Coburg, but with Ben Cunnington named to replace Jack Ziebell for the Kangaroos on Sunday and Cruize Garlett listed as an emergency, it may have some big holes to fill.

Cunnington has been the Roosters' best midfielder, not only racking up big disposal numbers, but kicking goals as well. Last week he shook a heavy tag and was able to significantly impose himself on the game.

Garlett’s consistency has been first class all season and if he runs out for the Kangaroos, Coburg may have the ascendancy in the middle.

Meanwhile in Williamstown on Sunday, Werribee may be forced to play without one of their main men in Cam Pedersen.

The key-position player and back-up ruckman to Majak Daw has been named as an emergency for North Melbourne along with Levi Greenwood.

However the Tigers, third on the VFL ladder, could have as many as ten North listed players on the ground when they battle the tenth placed Williamstown.
