Off the boot, Lindsay Thomas’ kick couldn’t have been uglier, but after spinning end over end and deviating from one side to the other, somehow the ball wobbled through the big sticks.

Thomas’ celebration said it all; he turned to the crowd and enjoyed the roar from the appreciative fans…but surely he hadn’t meant to kick the goal from such an impossible angle?
