While most would shudder at the thought of reliving a nightmare, Hamish McIntosh was only too happy to play along when kangaroos.com.au provided him with the opportunity.

Kicking from the exact same spot that he missed from on Saturday night after the siren, the ruckman was given five shots at goal to prove his accuracy in front of the big sticks.

While he’d do anything to be able to re-write the record books, McIntosh registered a 100 per cent strike rate from his five attempts and says he’s glad to close the book on a regretful chapter in his career.

“I’m sure Scotty (Brad Scott) will be a little bit happier knowing I can kick from the spot…It’s nice to know I can do it front of a crowd,” he joked.
