North Melbourne has already sold 10,000 tickets for its clash with AFL ladder leader West Coast at Blundstone Arena in Round 15.

Pre-sales have already almost matched the 11,127 crowd that attended the club’s debut in Hobart against Greater Western Sydney in Round 2.

Interim chief executive officer Cam Vale said the Kangaroos were delighted with the progress of sales.

"All the seating tickets are sold out and it's now general admission that's up for grabs," Vale told The Mercury on Thursday.

"We're about the 10,000 mark, so it's looking really good. Ticket sales are very promising and we are very optimistic that we'll get a sell-out."

With Vale already in charge of the club’s push into Tasmania, the resignation of former CEO Eugene Arocca on Tuesday won’t impact North’s plans for the region.

"It's probably one of the areas that's least affected. It's absolutely full steam ahead on what we want to achieve in Hobart, and there's absolutely no changes to that at all."

"The board, Eugene, myself and the AFL, and the three funding partners that came together, it's our best example of that joint unity with the AFL and how we've worked together on something," Vale added.

With the Eagles one of the premiership favourites and North hoping to push its way into the top eight, the Hobart game will be pivotal.
