Back in action
The Kangaroos’ North Ballarat listed players will be raring to go against Geelong on Sunday minus ball magnet Cruize Garlett.
Sitting 9th on the VFL ladder, every game is vital for the Roosters and their hopes of playing finals hang by a thread. Garlett’s absence in the midfield will hurt with the on-baller frequently named among the club’s best players each week.
Aaron Edwards will be looking to pick up where he left off after kicking 4 goals a fortnight ago while the Delaney brothers Cam and Luke should continue putting pressure on North’s defenders and aim for recalls.
Aaron Black, Aaron Mullett and Cam Richardson will be available at Eureka Stadium unless they’re activated by North Melbourne against the Bulldogs on Saturday with the emergencies close to adding to their respective AFL games tallies.
Meanwhile ruckman Ben Mabon will be buoyed with news of a contract extension at the Kangaroos.
