North Melbourne is likely to have one less Lion to deal with in the midfield on Saturday night, with news Brent Moloney could miss up to a fortnight.
The hard-at-it midfielder sustained a calf injury against the Gold Coast and was subbed out early in the third quarter. He is considered almost certain to miss the clash against the Kangaroos.
When the teams last met, Moloney had 22 disposals and five clearances.
The injury is another blow for Brisbane, who is already without veteran Simon Black due to a groin injury.
