Four North Melbourne players involved in a melee against the Hawks have accepted sanctions handed down by the AFL's Match Review Panel.

A stoush broke out between Jamie Macmillan and Lance Franklin during the second quarter at the MCG and team-mates came in to assist.

Macmillan was hit the hardest, $3,000 sanction for his third offence of engaging in a melee.

He also accepted a reprimand for making contact to the head of Franklin, meaning he'll be available to play against the Power.

Scott Thompson was handed a $2,100 sanction, while Aaron Mullett and Ryan Bastinac received $1,200 fines.
