Sam Gibson will equal a 40-year-old club record when he runs on Saturday night.
The 31-year-old is set to play his 119th consecutive match, tying Keith Greig’s effort during the 1970’s.
Making Gibson’s milestone even more impressive is how he’s done it since his debut, almost instantly becoming an integral part of the side.
The midfielder is only the eighth Kangaroo to play more than 100 consecutive matches, joining Greig, Byron Pickett, Peter Bell, John Blakey, Andrew Swallow, Drew Petrie and Gary Dempsey.
