While they may be out of the finals, some of North Melbourne’s highest profile players are still looking to share in the September excitement.
Supporters looking for one final chance to rub shoulders with their favourite players have one final chance to get up close at the annual ‘On the Boot Family Fun Day’.
Drew Petrie, Jack Ziebell, Andrew Swallow, Daniel Wells and Michael Firrito are just some of the Kangaroos’ players set to be in attendance at the event at Glenferrie Oval in Hawthorn, on September 15.
Other football superstars like Lance Franklin, Gary Ablett, Luke Hodge and Joel Selwood are regular guests with all proceeds directed to ‘My Room’ in the Children’s Cancer Centre at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Club chairman James Brayshaw will also be in attendance alongside the Footy Show’s Garry Lyon, Sam Newman, Shane Crawford and Billy Brownless.
The day also includes jumping castles, a giant slide, pony rides, chair-o-plane, face painters and animal farms, Photo Booth, AFL Player autographs and photos, a merry go round, sausage sizzle, fairy floss and lots more.
