It's been a quiet couple of weeks for North Melbourne's Lindsay Thomas, but there's no doubting he's been one of the best small-forwards in the competition throughout 2013.

AFL.com.au has named Thomas in its All-Australian team, with the number 12 placed in a forward pocket alongside the Eagles' Josh Kennedy and Greater Western Sydney's Jeremy Cameron.

With 48 goals in 17 games, Thomas has had the best year of his career, and led the Coleman Medal for much of the early part of the season.

At the other end of the field, defender Scott Thompson was named in the back-pocket next to Fremantle's Luke McPharlin and the Bombers' Michael Hibberd.

The pair is set to be highly-fancied at the club's Syd Barker Medal count on October 7. Click here for more information
