North Melbourne’s clash with Adelaide on Sunday was the third most watched game of the round, according to the latest AFL ratings.

The Round 20 match attracted a healthy audience of almost 570,000 nationally and was behind only the Magpies and Swans match on Saturday night (944,000) and the Hawthorn versus St Kilda game on Friday night (785,000).

Shown on Channel 7 and Foxtel, the Roos went down to Adelaide by just nine points at AAMI Stadium

North’s previous hits have been its matches against West Coast I Round 8 (1.3 million), Carlton in Round 17 (898,000), Fremantle in Round 13 (808,000) and Gold Coast in Round 11 (776,000).
