North Melbourne will use the same team that pushed ladder leaders Hawthorn to the brink, to get the job done against Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday.

The Roos have opted for an unchanged line-up, resisting the urge to bring in experienced campaigners Scott McMahon and Leigh Adams, who were named in an extended 25-man squad on Thursday.

The pair will instead be listed as emergencies alongside Taylor Garner.

The Round 23 match could be the most significant of the year for North with possible finals ramifications if Carlton lose to Port and Brisbane go down to Geelong.

Despite sustaining a broken nose in a collision in the Hawks’ clash, Robbie Tarrant is set to take his place in attack, while Brad McKenzie retains his spot and could be in line for another appearance as substitute.

Scott Thompson will need at least another week on the sidelines with a bruised lung.
