It’s no surprise Brent Harvey and Daniel Wells were handed nine votes each from Brad and Chris Scott, after outstanding individual performances by the pair on Friday night.

Despite Harvey not getting on the scoresheet himself, he had three goal assists and seven inside 50’s against the Cats. The 358-game veteran was a large part of North’s drive from the defensive half, and his votes take him to the top of the Kangaroos’ leaderboard. He has polled in four of the last six games.

Wells was greeted with a tag from Taylor Hunt but shrugged it off with three first-half goals. He ended with four majors, equalling a career-high from the season opener against Port Adelaide in 2006.

Elsewhere, Jack Ziebell collected three votes to take his season tally to 30. Of the six games Ziebell has polled in, five have come at Etihad Stadium.

Lachlan Hansen took his now customary 10 marks to go with a career-high of 30 possessions for two votes.

In an interesting coincidence, both Hansen and Harvey have polled in the same games in 2013 – Rounds 8, 10, 14, 15, 18 and 19.

Aaron Mullett also polled one vote for his 32 possessions, the most ever recorded without a contested disposal.
