Ben Brown back in town
News of Ben Brown’s re-call to the North Melbourne side will no doubt slip under the radar.
Last time Brown’s name was called, there was plenty of fanfare with the Tasmanian given the chance to play at Blundstone Arena in front of family and friends in his home-state, Tasmania. This time around, the 21-year-old key forward will enjoy a much quieter lead-up, with the match against the Giants in Canberra.
The number 50 has played four games for the Kangaroos and was a late withdrawal against Carlton due to a finger injury.
Brown replaces Majak Daw in the 22, while Turner takes Aaron Mullett’s spot flowing the club’s loss to Geelong last week.
Nathan Grima has edged closer to a return, named as an emergency with Mullett and Mason Wood also on standby.
Meanwhile the Giants have made two changes to their side, bringing in Matt Buntine and Jed Lamb for Josh Hunt and Sam Frost.
