Season in review
Initially it appeared that Mullett had shrugged off his interrupted pre-season to recapture the form of 2013.
67 disposals and four goals in the first four matches of the season seemed to show that the left-footer had picked up where he left off, and would continue to be an important member of the best 22.
But as the season wore on, the number 41 was the unfortunate recipient of a few more niggles and it eventually took a toll on his form.
Mullett’s defensive side slipped slightly, and it was enough to leave him battling for a spot in the North side during the last third of the season. After playing 13 of the first 16 games of the season, the 22-year-old played only four of the last nine.
Despite a tough end to 2014, Mullett will be fit and going to Utah to begin pre-season, aiming to build a fitness base that will allow him to bounce back to his best.

"You’ve got a licence to run and carry and use the ball (at North Ballarat). It’s always got to be in the back of my mind though, to be responsible for my opponent.
"That way as soon I dispose of the ball and finish in the play, to turn around and know where I’ve got to be at all times."
