North Melbourne has named an unchanged side for Saturday night's semi-final against the Sydney Swans, showing faith in the squad that defeated Richmond last week.
Midfielder Ryan Bastinac, defender Luke McDonald and forward Kayne Turner have been listed as emergencies for the all-important clash.
Roos coach Brad Scott said the trio would remain firmly in contention to face the Swans.
"Whenever the team has a good performance, it's always difficult to change although we're going to take our full squad up to Sydney so we expect Bastinac, McDonald and Turner to prepare to play," Scott told NMFC.com.au on Thursday.
"We'll take all things into consideration – weather conditions (and) our final thoughts on the way we want to play.
"We've got a good, flexible squad so we're faced with some selection challenges which is exactly the situation we wanted to be in."
Defender Jamie Macmillan will travel to the harbour city after overcoming a rolled ankle he sustained in the final quarter of last Sunday's elimination final win over the Tigers.
Scott said Macmillan had trained strongly in Thursday afternoon's main skills session.
"It pulled up exactly as we expected; we knew it was very minor, he went back on (the ground in the last term) and felt fine," he said.
"To have him train fully with no discomfort whatsoever was really pleasing."
Meanwhile, the Swans have opted against bringing in another tall, with defender Nick Smith included in their team after overcoming a hamstring strain.
Smith comes in at the expense of forward Sam Reid, who injured his hamstring in last Saturday's qualifying final against Fremantle.
Kieren Jack (knee) and Luke Parker (lower leg) were considered outside chances to return, but have been overlooked for selection.
The Roos will make the journey to ANZ Stadium for the first time since their 71-point preliminary final defeat to the Swans last year.
Tickets are still available for Saturday night's semi-final.
