Trading bicep curls and deadlifts for hay bales and tree branches; Tarryn Thomas' isolation workouts have been unique, to say the least.
The North youngster is training with the club's High Performance Manager in the Yarra Ranges, hoping to gain an edge on the competition in a very different way.
Thomas got some work in at Willowlake Vineyard on Wednesday, with AFL Photos' Michael Willson there to capture some amazing shots.
“We’ve got a lot of hills here, so we’ve been able to incorporate a bit of hill running," Segal told North Media.
“There’s hay bales, there’s chin-ups off railings, off tree-branches, and just essentially trying to make the most of the environment and surrounds we’ve got.
“Having said that, we’ve got dumbbells, we’ve got some plates, we’ve got all those sorts of things. It’s certainly not the Arden Street gym ... it's just being creative with what's around."
