With the likelihood of multiple changes to the North side this week, the structure of the 22 is up for debate.

30 players have already been used by the Roos this season; when considering the good form of those in the VFL the number is every chance of rising sooner rather than later.

Have your say on any potential changes below.

Forwards

This is the area of the ground with the most conjecture surrounding it.

Mason Wood’s concussion against the Bombers has him in doubt, while the extra tall forward last week could also be a short-lived experiment.

Aaron Black is in excellent form in the VFL, having kicked eight goals in the last two games. Corey Wagner was threatening at ground level playing as a half-forward, and with the current shortage of smalls the first-year player has been edging closer to a debut in recent weeks.

Midfielders

Daniel Wells has all but been ruled out for a second straight week. Trent Dumont’s form has been good for Werribee, notching 31 disposals last week and dominating around the clearances.

The 20-year-old played eight games for North last season but is yet to get his chance in 2016.

Farren Ray also came in for high praise after his VFL performance last week. His recent elevation to the senior list suggests he’s very much in the frame for a North debut.

Ryan Clarke is another to impress. In his first year as a Roo, the 18-year-old has put together a string of good performances at VFL level.

Defenders

Brad Scott has already confirmed Michael Firrito will come straight back into the 22 after the veteran was rested for last week’s clash against Essendon.

Elsewhere, Sam Wright will be hoping to make himself available as he recovers from an ankle injury. With the likes of Aaron Mullett and Brad McKenzie relishing their opportunity at AFL level there are plenty of options for Brad Scott and the match committee.
