North Melbourne extends its deepest sympathies to the family of John Waddington after he passed away, aged 81.
Waddington played 132 games for the club from 1958-1966, all in the number 32 guernsey; a club record.
A defender by trade, Waddington managed to kick 30 goals across his VFL career, including three in a semi-final win over Fitzroy.
Waddington was a key member of the North teams that won back-to-back night premierships in 1965 and 1966.
