Over the past three seasons, Good Friday footy has become a blockbuster fixture for North Melbourne, but in 2020, it's simply not possible.
While the Roos would normally have been ramping up preparations to take on the Bulldogs, the postponement of the season has changed the AFL landscape, at least for the time being.
But one thing remains the same; there's still plenty of opportunity to Give For The Kids.
North coach Rhyce Shaw is encouraging Victorians to do what they can to support the Good Friday Appeal.
"It is a great cause and, if people can, we would love them to spare a couple of bucks," he said in The Herald Sun.
Shaw raised the prospect of playing a fundraiser for the Appeal, when footy returns.
"When the time is right, we will definitely do it," defender Jamie Macmillan added.
Macmillan said the players were disappointed they couldn't play for the kids, or rattle tins, in a challenging time for all Australians.
