A number of North Melbourne players will undergo post-season surgery in the coming weeks, the club can confirm.
Director of Football Geoff Walsh said all surgeries were minor and none of the players are expected to miss out on taking part in the 2017 pre-season.
“We have a few players who are going in for clean outs and some really minor procedures,” Walsh told NMFC.com.au.
“The aim of these operations is to get rid of the niggles and to correct any lingering issues.
“Our medical team are confident that those players who are having their surgery now will all be able to have an uninterrupted pre-season after the Christmas break.”
