It’s a very intimate club, and very welcoming. The girls have come in and the club has welcomed us like we’ve been here for a long time.

A girl can only dream.

What’s your advice to aspiring female footballers?
Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and give it a crack.

Lachie Whitfield - love the way he plays and his position on the wing.

Most embarrassing footy moment?
Being falconed on TV in the first televised game.

Favourite part of 2019 season?
Torn between the first home and away game in Tasmania and bringing my nephews through the club for the first time.

Worst part of pre-season?
All of the running and fitness tests.

Weirdest pre-game tradition/ritual?
Back in the day in VFLW Emma Kearney used to take a quick nap in the change room right before we ran out.

What did you want to be when you were younger?
A fire fighter.

Most influential person in your life?
My mum.

Which club song always gets stuck in your head?  
GWS after the lead-up to the 2019 Grand Final.

How did you react when you were told you were going to play for an AFLW team?
A Ballarat girl moving to Queensland to play AFLW - nervous, excited and just a surreal feeling.
