1. What makes North Melbourne special?

Everyone who is involved at the club make the club special and something you want to be a part of long-term.

2. Describe North Melbourne in one sentence…

Feels like home.

3. If we told you growing up there’d be a national women’s competition, and you’d be playing in it … what would you say?

I wouldn’t have believed it. To play a sport professionally would be a dream come true!

4. What’s your advice to aspiring female footballers?

The harder you work for something, the greater it will feel when you achieve it!

5.My favourite thing about footy is...

On-field; I love the physicality of the game!

Off-field; The friendships you form within your team and the other girls within the competition!

6. Outside of footy I...

I love to explore my home state of Tasmania whether that’s through hiking, mountain bike riding or kayaking.

7. My favourite North player is...

I don’t have favourites ... but if I did have a favourite it would be Jess Trend! She is just bloody hilarious.

8. My footy inspiration is...

Players like Emma Kearney and Erin Phillips are the two that inspire me the most when playing football. The way they go about their game and preparation is second to none.

9. Who wins the 2020 North AFLW B & F?

Ash Riddell! Absolutely gun, had a killer year and I cannot wait to see what she can do in 2020! 👌

10. If you could create your own AFLW team’s mascot what would it be?

 No clue.

11. Most embarrassing footy moment?

Haven’t had any yet! I’m sure they will come eventually!

12. Favourite part of 2019 season?

Definitely the club being so successful in its FIRST YEAR into the competition, but my highlight was coming back from my ACL injury and kicking a goal in my first game back!

13. Worst part of pre-season?

Sooooo much running 👎

14. Weirdest pre-game tradition/ritual?

I have to have my gear folded and displayed on my bed before I pack it.

15. What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I never really knew what I wanted to be growing up. Now I have finally figured out that I want to be a teacher! 

16. Most influential person in your life?

Without a doubt, my partner Angela. She is the reason I’m able to play AFLW! She continues to push me and make me a better person and a better player everyday. She believed in me when I didn’t really believe in myself at times.

17. Which club song always gets stuck in your head? 

Sydney’s song, because it’s my club song.

18. How did you react when you were told you were going to play for an AFLW team?

It was an unreal experience and something I will never forget. It started with tears and finally after it all sunk in, it was just excitement from there.
