He was identified as one of the 2011 National Draft’s most exceptional kicks, and now Brad McKenzie will have the opportunity to put his skills to the test against the best in the land.
The 18-year old has been named to make his debut against the Bulldogs on Sunday and will no doubt have a number of family and friends heading over from South Australia to watch him play.

Also set to play is Todd Goldstein. The ruckman travelled to Perth last week, but wasn’t activated and remained an emergency for the match with the Eagles. His stellar form in the VFL the previous week, which included 64 hit-outs, held him good stead given the North Ballarat Roosters had a bye last weekend.
Selected for his skills by foot and ability to rebound out of defence, former Hawks listed player Will Sierakowski has been named in North Melbourne’s squad.
North took the left-footer in exchange for selection 58 in the 2011 National Draft and he’s been increasingly impressive in the VFL over the past month.
With Robbie Tarrant and Aaron Mullett omitted, Ben Warren and Cam Delaney are also in the frame.
If Delaney gets up, he’ll have the opportunity to play his second AFL game, but more significantly, it’ll be alongside his older brother Luke in the Roos’ backline. The younger sibling made his debut in Round 2 against the Giants in Hobart and has been champing at the bit for another opportunity.
Ben Warren’s credentials have been well documented so far this season and another four goals for Werribee on the weekend has only strengthened his claims for a senior spot.
