First half review – Leigh Tudor

“He missed a couple of games (in rounds eight and nine) with his broken thumb but he got straight back into it.

"In his comeback game from injury, he had 13 tackles so it was a really courageous performance.

"He's another one that's really stood up in the last few weeks when we needed him to. His inside work has been really good and his tackles and defensive pressure have been first-class."

Second half review – Darren Crocker

“He worked through a knee issue in the second half of the year. It was a real credit to him that he was able to continue getting through good games and still being important at the pointy end of the year.

“His ability to win the contested footy, get hands on it in the stoppage and his tackling pressure in close was really important to us.”

My Year: Andrew Swallow – VIDEO

“I didn’t feel like I had too many outstanding games, but I performed my role most weeks, which was pleasing.

“The great thing about this year is that we had a heap of guys who could go through the midfield.”
