First half review – Josh Drummond

“He’s really underrated outside our four walls but an important player we missed for the most part of last year.

“We thought we had him back but then he was in and out for the first few weeks with his nagging lower leg problem that hung around.

“It probably took him a few weeks to get some run and confidence back but recently we’ve started to see the player we expected. He was terrific on the weekend and he can play a number of different roles.”

Second half review – Josh Drummond

“It was about the continuity with him. When he got a few games in a row, he was able to play well.

“He’s such an important player to us because of the different roles he can play, he gives us good run and also uses the footy well.

“He’s someone we rate quite highly along with being a strong young leader.

“He’s another guy that’ll benefit from a strong pre-season with his best footy still ahead of him.”
