North Melbourne is set to go into the clash against Adelaide with close to a full strength lineup after the naming of its final 22.

The Roos have added Jarrad Waite and Shaun Higgins for the match against the Phil Walsh-coached Crows, with three players omitted from the initial 25-man squad on Friday.

Ben Jacobs, Robbie Tarrant and Robin Nahas have been named as emergencies, with Ryan Bastinac, Sam Wright, Kayne Turner and Ben Brown on the interchange bench.

Despite several players undergoing surgery during the off-season, North has just five players on its injury list going into round one.

The players will take part in an open training session on Saturday morning (11.15am-12.00pm), before travelling to Adelaide.
