Galloping North Melbourne big man Majak Daw is officially the league's fastest man after blitzing the field to take out the 13 CABS AFL Grand Final Sprint on Saturday at the MCG.
The flying Kangaroo lived up to his billing one of the pre-race favourites when he overtook Adelaide's Charlie Cameron early in the race and cruised to victory, with the Crow edging out Sydney Swan Dean Towers who finished third.
Cameron burst off the start line to be the clear leader after 20 metres before Daw's giant strides saw him take the lead at around the 40-metre mark, before hitting the tape for an easy victory.
Daw won $5000 towards a charity for his efforts and plenty of bragging rights over the rest of the competition.
Gurdev and Parminder Singh carried the flag for the taxi-driving fraternity, but despite showing plenty of speed in the heats, they were never in the hunt.
